Pupil & Sports Premium Reports

Pupil Premium

At Bridstow CE Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of their background or circumstances, has the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Our Pupil Premium Strategy sets out how we use additional funding to support disadvantaged pupils through high-quality teaching, targeted academic interventions and wider pastoral support. Key priorities include improving attendance, strengthening reading, writing and mathematics outcomes, supporting wellbeing and mental health, and ensuring all children can access the wider opportunities that enrich school life. Our strategy is reviewed regularly to evaluate impact and ensure funding is used effectively to help pupils thrive both academically and personally.

PE and Sport Premium

We believe that physical activity, sport and outdoor learning play a vital role in children's health, wellbeing and personal development. Our PE and Sport Premium funding is used to improve the quality of PE teaching, increase participation in physical activity, broaden sporting opportunities and ensure that all pupils, including those with SEND and disadvantaged backgrounds, can take part and succeed. Through staff training, active play initiatives, sports leadership opportunities, competition pathways and links with community providers, we aim to create sustainable improvements that benefit current and future pupils. Our action plan and impact review demonstrate how this funding supports an active, inclusive and healthy school community.

These statements are supported by our detailed strategy documents and annual impact reviews, which can be viewed below.
